Amazon is getting into the talk show game.
A group of influencers are to host a new creator-led talk show for Prime Video. Achieng Agutu, Eyal Booker, Tefi Pessoa, Taryn Delanie Smith, and Cyrus Veyssi will host Influenced.
It comes from Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and Amazon MGM Studios.
The half-hour series, which has a ten-part order, will launch in a number of territories including in the UK and U.S. on August 1.
It will also be available in Argentina, Australia, Chile, Colombia, DE, Guatemala, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
The idea of the show to bridge the gap between social media and TV and will cover topics such as lifestyle, food, fashion, home design, travel, beauty, entertainment, popular culture, mental health, spirituality, and wellness.
Influenced is executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, Sara Rea, Sue Kinkead, and Elizabeth Sandorff for Hello Sunshine. Jill Van Lokeren, who was an exec producer on Red Table Talk, serves as showrunner and executive producer.
