Superstar Rajinikanth was discharged from a hospital in Chennai on October 3 at 11 PM after undergoing a non-surgical procedure for an issue related to a major blood channel in his heart. On October 4, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported him during his recovery.

In his message, Rajinikanth wrote, “To all my political friends and people from the film industry who wished me a speedy recovery while I was in the hospital. My sincere thanks to all my friends, well-wishers, press friends, and to all the people who have prayed for my well-being and wished me well, the fans who are the gods who keep me alive and who have loved me so much.”
On the professional front, Rajinikanth is set to appear in the much-anticipated film Vettaiyan, where he will share the screen with legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Lyca Productions, the film boasts an impressive cast, including Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, and Ritika Singh. Additionally, he will star in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film *Coolie*, supported by Sun Pictures.
