WINNERS LIST GOLDEN GLOBES 2025

The 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, held on January 5, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrated outstanding achievements in film and television. Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser—the first solo female host in the event’s history—the ceremony was marked by notable wins, memorable speeches, and significant moments that resonated with audiences worldwide.

Emilia Pérez led the night with four awards, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, while The Brutalist secured three awards, notably Best Motion Picture – Drama. In her first speech she was overwhelmed extremely thankful to all her colleagues and family.
Demi Moore’s win for The Substance was particularly celebrated, marking a significant achievement in her career for first ever GGA.

Her speech was outstanding to how she was reflecting on what it means to be a 62-year-old woman in Hollywood.

Her emotions got more revealed that in her 45 years as an actor, this was her first major award win, and decades after a producer had told her she was simply a “popcorn” actress not destined for award-winning fare.

“I’m just in shock right now,” she said in her speech during the ceremony.

“I’ve been doing this for a long time, over 45 years now and this is the first time I’ve won anything as an actor. I’m so humbled and so grateful.”

The Australian trios nominated Nicole Kidman for Best Actress – Drama for erotic thriller Babygirl, while Cate Blanchett and Naomi Watts were both up for the TV category’s Best Actress – Limited Series for their performances in Disclaimer and Feud: Capote vs. The Swans unfortunately did not win.
