In a striking transformation reminiscent of Hollywood’s golden age, Sabrina Carpenter has emerged as a modern-day Marilyn Monroe. The metamorphosis, captured in a Vogue photoshoot, showcases the “Espresso” vocalist channeling the iconic actress with platinum blonde curls, crimson lips, and an exclusive Dolce & Gabbana corset dress for the publication’s March 2025 cover.

The singer’s affinity for classic Hollywood elegance manifests consistently throughout her public appearances. During the Grammy Awards, the artist selected another powder blue ensemble for her performance, preceding her triumph in the Best Pop Vocal Album category for Short n’ Sweet.
“This is—whoa—my first Grammy, so I’m gonna cry,” Carpenter said during her acceptance speech. “But I wrote names, so I wouldn’t forget, on this napkin, but now it’s probably all messed up. But thank you to the Recording Academy for having me and having everyone here tonight in celebration and in honor of everything that’s happened…This is so special to me, and Short n’ Sweet means the world.”

The artist secured additional accolades, including Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso,” alongside nominations for Best New Artist, Song of The Year, Album of The Year, and Record of The Year. Her companion and fellow musician Taylor Swift received nominations in the latter three categories, having reportedly influenced Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet tour.
“Her stadiums make my shows look like clubs,” Carpenter told Vogue regarding Swift’s unprecedented Eras tour. “Watching her keep their attention as if she’s playing in their living room, it was like—and I told her this—your tour enabled me to do mine.”
