Coorparoo, Dendy Portside, and Dendy Powerhouse Outdoor Cinema, BIFF is proud to be Queensland’s largest celebration
of film culture, presenting a thought provoking and entertaining programme of Australian and International cinema. This year’s festival will showcase over 40 feature films and 40 short films from home and abroad, filmmaker Q&As, and industry and student events.

EMILIA PEREZ – QLD Premiere

Conducting clandestine experiments within the morgue at Miskatonic University, scientist Herbert West reveals to a fellow graduate student his groundbreaking work concerning the re-animation of fresh corpses. MELT FESTIVAL: I SAW THE TV GLOW – Presented by BIFF
See one of the first screenings in QLD of this LGBTQIA+ film with a cryptic, horror-tinged mood piece filled with striking imagery and deep metaphors. Screening at Dendy Powerhouse Outdoor Cinema Saturday, 2 November in conjunction with MELT ON SCREEN at 6.30pm and a BIFF screening at Dendy Cinemas Portside Sunday, 3 November.
