Netflix Reality Star Justin Assada Seeks His Perfect Match

Mar 12, 2025

After captivating audiences on Netflix’s Surviving Paradise and Perfect Match, Justin Assada is set to embark on a new romantic journey on Miss/Match – the hit reality dating show from OnlyFans TV (OFTV).

Coming from a Lebanese-Irish family, Justin hails from the Boston area. According to a profile on Mass Live, Justin was an All-American athlete, playing football, basketball, lacrosse and running track in high school. He went on to attend Assumption University in Worcester, Massachusetts on a football scholarship. He played as a wide receiver while studying business management and English.

A Netflix casting director contacted Justin about appearing on the competitive reality series Surviving Paradise. On the show, 12 contestants are sent to a luxury villa but there’s a twist –half of them are forced to survive in the wilderness as they fight for a $100,000 cash prize. After his appearance on that show, he was brought back to the streamer for the second season of the hit dating competition series Perfect Match where he failed to find his perfect match.

And now, Justin is searching for love once more on the fifth season of Miss/Match. On the episode, Justin was matched up with model and content creator Dainty Wilder. The pair tackled hand-picked challenges to help break the ice and to determine if they are ultimately a miss, a match, or something more.

We had the chance to chat with Justin about his experience on the show, his dating preferences and what is next for him in our exclusive interview. Don’t miss your chance to get to know this model contestant.

Hey, what’s up with you?

Nothing much. Just chilling. I’m in Australia. Living life down under.

Oh, I’m so jealous. Where are you?

In Sydney. Right in the thick of it.

So, tell me a little bit about yourself and kind of how you came into the world of reality TV and Miss/Match.

I mean I started off in tech sales. I was a collegiate athlete too. Before I’d gotten into reality TV, I was living my life and then all of a sudden the casting producer had reached out and me being the overt narcissist that I am was like, hell yeah, I deserve to be on TV, put me on TV.

I just went through a lot of interviews and I think the thing that producers liked about me the most was that I was not shy in regard to being vulnerable or showing a big personality. I credit that to growing up in a big family from Boston. I think that shined through and then it hit the big screen and ever since then, it’s been all go, no brakes. It’s been fun.

I think Miss/Match is like a first date. What is your ideal first date?

My ideal first date?  First and foremost, it doesn’t happen during the daytime, which is terrifying for me. It’s what this whole experience was like. I like to keep things relaxed and easy. I just do drinks. I feel like, for the first date, if I need to get out of there it’s not like dinner where I have to wait for entrees or dessert to come. I can just leave after I down my drink. I think my ideal first date would be just drink somewhere simple and then kind of seeing where the night goes. But if it all goes well… I’d ideally get drinks, run around the city, find myself back at my place and then probably propose by 6 am.

On the show, you declared your disdain for small talk. What is your go-to icebreaker?

I think I just have like a very natural filtration process in regard to my conversation, especially on first dates because I’m asking questions like what’s your strangest pleasure? What’s your weirdest kink? What’s your deepest, darkest secret? And some people are like, get the fuck away from me. You’re a sociopath. But the right people will be like, yeah, let’s get into it. Let’s get down to the nitty gritty. I think that’s just the type of person I am. I have no time for small talk. I’d rather just fall in love immediately.

What is the coolest thing that’s happened to you since you’ve been on these shows?

I mean, I’ve been partying with quite a few people and I even might have spent the night with a couple of big people that I used to watch and listen to growing up and that’s kind of weird to see stuff like that come into fruition. I’d say that’s the coolest part.

Also, you know, making a couple more bucks is cool and – I think I said it on the show – but I’m able to go to the movies every week now. I’m an AMC Stubs A-lister and I can afford it. I can see like four movies a week and it’s sick.

What do you think the biggest misconception that people would have about you?

I think it’s probably that I’m a huge douchebag. I’m a huge red flag. And like I said, I think that’s half true. I think that I can be a fucking dickhead. I mean, I’m 28 years old. I’m kind of in my prime right now so I’m going to take advantage of the opportunities to come. But for the most part I am a very down to earth person. I grew up with sisters and I like to think I know how to navigate dates in general and I think when people just start to talk to me they think “reality TV star”, they think “college football player who probably doesn’t have too much to offer” but I think there’s a there’s a lot more hiding beneath the surface – sort of like the Great Barrier Reef

Only Fans TV has got dating shows but they’ve also got cooking shows and comedy shows. Would you want to be on one of those?

Yes, I need to be on either of those. Either the comedy one or the cooking one because I think I would kill it as a chef. Maybe I’ll be a comedic chef. Maybe I’ll fuse the two. I was a double major in college, business and English. Maybe I’d do like a “double major” but I could be focused on culinary arts and comedy. That could be fun. But yeah, I don’t know. I think maybe for right now I need to focus on making Hot Pockets and not overcooking them before I get into any culinary ventures.

You’re in Australia now but are there other places that are still on your bucket list?

Yes. I want to go to Italy so badly. I want to go to the Amalfi Coast.  I want to wear a full linen suit and ride around on a Vespa and maybe have some espresso at a cliffside café. That’s kind of like my end goal in life. If I can do that, I’ll be happy.

What is next for you? Do you have plans moving on after Miss/Match?

No, not necessarily. I’m just kind of enjoying life for what it is now. You know, like I said, OnlyFans has given me a platform where I can fund my aspirations financially. I’m just taking advantage of the moment, living day to day. But I definitely want to travel more. I want to see the world and maybe fall in love. But other than that, maybe focus on my culinary ventures and enjoy the time being.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve? When people do that weird grin when they walk past you and they do the closed lip smile and they tilt their head at you, I don’t know what it is. I don’t like it.

If you wrote your autobiography, what would the title be?

That’s a good question. I don’t know. I’ll have to give that more thought.

What is your most prized possession?

In high school, and they cut off my uvula, my little punching bag thing in the back of my throat that hangs down. I have it in a jar in my room back in my parents’ house. It’s pretty sick.

If you could wake up in the morning with any superpower or talent that you don’t already possess, what would that be?

I don’t know. I know this one too, because everyone always asks about superpowers and I think about it. I don’t know, maybe…geez, that’s a good question too. Maybe the ability to get sand off of my body after the beach. Just a snap of the finger and all the sand would just leave my body. It’d just fall off.  I’d say that would probably be an ability that I’d like. Maybe I’ve been in Australia too long.

What are three things you can’t live without?

Three things I can’t live without. I love Chipotle, so I’ll say Chipotle. I wasn’t expecting these random questions, but these are great. Chipotle, I’ll say. A clean pair of socks.  Chipotle, a clean pair of socks and my phone.

What are you most grateful for?

I think I’m most grateful for my mother because I was kind of a handful growing up, but she loved me. She was a tough bitch, but she made me who I am today.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Never stick your dick in crazy.
