On last week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the queens took on the Ryan Murphy-verse and showcased their acting chops in the Feud-inspired Ross Matthews and The Ducks. The queens then strutted the runway in black-and-white ball looks that would have impressed Truman Capote himself.
Current reigning All Star (and Atlanta’s own) Angeria Paris VanMicheals joined Monét X Change to discuss the episode – from Arriety’s mirror message that could crown her as the “villain of the season” to discussions of weird dreams, Suzi’s questionable hairline, the black and white looks and Lana and Lydia’s lip sync – the one that sadly sent the latter home on the latest episode of ‘The Pit Stop.”
Our eliminated queen, the pride of Pittsburgh, Lydia B. Collins chatted about her experience with Michelle Visage on “Whatcha Packin?” She discusses the origin (and evolution) of her drag name, her adoration of Winona Ryder, being a weird kid, her love of film, and her favorite and least favorite challenges of the season. Yes, she also talks about her relationship with castmate Kori King and shows off some of her insanely creative runway looks. I will definitely miss this queen and can’t wait to see her on All Stars.
